Our Products

Precision-fabricated, hot-dip galvanized steel structures for Telecom, Power, Railway, and Industrial applications. Built for India. Ready for the world.

What We Manufacture

Every line is fabricated from IS 2062 steel and hot-dip galvanized in our own 7-metre kettle — one company accountable for both the fabrication and the coating.

The Standards Behind Every Line

Structural steel IS 2062 / IS 8500  ·  Galvanizing IS 2629 / ASTM A123 (75–85 microns)  ·  Wind load IS 875 Part 3  ·  Welding AWS D1.1 / IS 816  ·  Tolerances IS 7215.

Verified in our own laboratory — a German-built Bruker Q2 ION spectrometer reading steel, zinc, aluminium and copper, a universal testing machine and a Rockwell hardness tester. Third-party inspection by BVQI, SGS, Bureau Veritas, DNV, TÜV or your nominated agency is fully supported.

What Buyers Ask First

Answered the way we would answer them on a call, including where the answer is that we buy it in.

What does Indo East actually manufacture?

Fabricated and hot-dip galvanized steel structures in six lines: telecom towers, substation and transmission structures, transmission line towers, monopoles, solar module mounting structures, railway channel sleepers and OHE structures, and structural fabrication to drawing. We also take hot-dip galvanizing as job work on our own kettle.

Do you make everything you supply?

No, and we say which is which. The structures are ours. On line hardware and accessories — clamps, fittings, earthing accessories, fasteners — some items we manufacture and some we buy in and galvanize to the same standard. Against your specific bill of materials we mark each line before you order, rather than letting you assume everything comes off our own floor.

Can you fabricate to our drawing rather than a catalogue?

Yes, and most of our work is exactly that. Send the general arrangement drawings and the specification. We would also rather review the venting and hanging under ASTM A385 before steel is cut, because that review costs nothing and it is the cheapest place to prevent a rework.

What is the largest single piece you can fabricate and galvanize?

Maximum fabricated weight for a single piece is 5 tonnes. The galvanizing kettle is 7.0 m long by 1.2 m wide and 1.6 m deep, so anything longer than 7.0 m is double-dipped — standard practice, but it leaves a visible overlap line and we raise that before quoting.

Which standards do you work to?

IS 2062 for steel; IS 2629, IS 4759, IS 6745 and IS 2633 for galvanizing, with ASTM A123, ASTM A153 or EN ISO 1461 where an export specification calls for them; IS 802 for towers with wind loading from IS 875 Part 3; IS 2486 for line hardware; IS 1367 for fasteners; IS 3043 for earthing. Each of those has its own page on this site with the actual requirement written out.

Do you supply outside India?

Yes, and we are actively accepting direct export orders. To be precise about the record: Indo East has completed one direct export, of fabricated structural steel to the Maldives in January 2018 under its own Import Export Code, and Indo East steel is installed on a 50 MW solar project in Togo supplied through a client. Those are the only two.

Building to a drawing we haven't listed?

Heavy fabrication is drawing-based — send us the GA and we'll quote it. A director replies within 48 business hours.
