Our own kettle, on our own site — 7.0 m × 1.2 m × 1.6 m at 450–460 °C, coated to IS 2629 / ASTM A123 at 75–85 microns. Job work accepted alongside our own fabrication.
Indo East Corporation Pvt. Ltd. runs its own hot-dip galvanizing plant at Jalan Industrial Complex, Jangalpur, on NH-6 in Howrah — about 22 km from Kolkata Port. The kettle is 7.0 m × 1.2 m × 1.6 m, operating at 450–460 °C, coating to IS 2629 / IS 4759 / ASTM A123 at a minimum of 75–85 microns, checked on every batch with a calibrated DFT gauge. We galvanize the structures we fabricate ourselves — and we accept job-work galvanizing from other fabricators, OEMs and project contractors. Enquiries: +91 98361 05950 · info@indoeast.com.
Most fabricators in and around Howrah send their steel out to be galvanized. We do not. The kettle sits on the same site as the cutting, drilling and welding shops, which means the fabrication tolerance and the zinc coating are answerable to the same people and the same drawing — and material does not spend days on a truck between two vendors.
That same line is available as job work. If you fabricate structures and need them galvanized to IS 2629 or ASTM A123 with a coating report you can hand to an inspector, send us the item list and we will quote against it.

You fabricate. We galvanize, test and document. Material is received at our Jangalpur works and returned with a coating report.
Sizes, steel grade, piece weights, quantity — or the drawing. Email info@indoeast.com.
Quoted per tonne against your list, with the turnaround confirmed in writing rather than promised in general terms.
Material is received on NH-6, Howrah — directly on the highway, 22 km from Kolkata Port.
Degrease, rinse, pickle, rinse, flux, dry — the stage most coating failures actually trace back to.
Immersion at 450–460 °C, then DFT coating-thickness readings, adherence test and visual check for bare spots, lumps and drips.
A galvanizing report goes back with the material. Third-party inspection (BVQI, SGS, Bureau Veritas, DNV, TUV or your own agency) is welcome on site.
We quote job work against a drawing or a weighed item list. We do not publish a per-kg rate on this page, because the rate depends on section thickness, piece size and batch quantity — and a number quoted without those is a number that changes later.

Fabricated steel from other workshops, galvanized to standard and returned with a coating report.
The works is on NH-6 at Jangalpur, Howrah — on the highway itself, about 22 km from Kolkata Port and within a short run of the Howrah and Kolkata industrial belt. Material comes in from fabricators and project sites across West Bengal and eastern India, and galvanized consignments have gone out as far as export packing for overseas projects.
In-house. Indo East operates its own hot-dip galvanizing plant at its Jangalpur works in Howrah, on the same site as its fabrication shop. Galvanizing is not sub-contracted, so fabrication tolerance and zinc coating are controlled by one company against one drawing.
The kettle measures 7.0 metres long x 1.2 metres wide x 1.6 metres deep and operates at 450-460 degrees Celsius. Structural members of up to about 7 metres are galvanized in a single immersion.
Yes. Indo East accepts galvanizing job work from fabricators, OEMs and project contractors in addition to galvanizing its own structures. Material is received at the Jangalpur works, galvanized to IS 2629 / ASTM A123 and returned with a galvanizing report recording coating thickness.
A minimum of 75-85 microns, in line with IS 2629. Coating thickness is measured on every batch with calibrated dry film thickness (DFT) gauges and recorded in the galvanizing report.
IS 2629 (hot-dip galvanizing of iron and steel), IS 4759 (zinc coating on structural steel) and ASTM A123 for international and export orders.
An eight-stage sequence: alkaline degreasing, water rinse, hydrochloric acid pickling, second water rinse, zinc ammonium chloride fluxing, drying, immersion in molten zinc at 450 degrees Celsius, then quenching and cooling.
The works handles single fabricated pieces of up to 5 tonnes, and annual throughput is over 18,000 MT. Members up to about 7 metres are galvanized in one dip.
Jalan Industrial Complex, Gate No. 1, Right Lane No. 6, Jangalpur, NH-6, Howrah 711411, West Bengal, India - directly on NH-6 and about 22 km from Kolkata Port.
A galvanizing report with DFT coating-thickness readings, adherence test result and visual inspection for bare spots, lumps and drips. Third-party inspection by agencies such as BVQI, SGS, Bureau Veritas, DNV and TUV is supported, as is customer-nominated TPI.
Against an item list or drawing showing sizes, steel grade, piece weights and quantity. Send the list to info@indoeast.com or call +91 98361 05950 and a quotation is issued on a per-tonne basis.
Turnaround is confirmed at the time of order and depends on batch size and the current load on the line. It is quoted in writing with the rate rather than promised in general terms.
A hot-dip galvanized structure in an outdoor environment can last 25-75 years with zero maintenance. The zinc coating is metallurgically bonded to the steel, which is why it outperforms paint or spray coatings on adhesion and durability.
Telecom towers and monopoles, substation and transmission structures, railway OHE masts and steel channel sleepers, solar module mounting structures, and general heavy and light structural fabrication in IS 2062 steel.
Yes - ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety. The company is also NSIC registered and an IEC registered exporter.
