Indo East fabricates to your drawing rather than to a catalogue — flyover girders, heavy industrial structures, H-beam poles and general steel fabrication, from IS 2062 or the grade your drawing calls for, welded to IS 816 or AWS D1.1 as specified, and hot-dip galvanized where the job requires it.

Maximum single-piece fabricated weight is 5 tonnes, and the galvanizing kettle takes 7.0 m in one dip. We would rather review the venting and hanging under ASTM A385 before steel is cut — that review costs nothing and it is the cheapest place in the whole job to prevent a rework.

What size is the hot-dip galvanizing kettle?

7 m x 1.2 m x 1.6 m (length x width x depth), in-house at the Howrah plant. Members longer than the kettle are handled by double-dipping or by designing the splice into the fabrication.
