Documented inspection at every stage — from raw-material receipt through fabrication, welding and galvanizing to final dispatch — backed by an in-house testing laboratory and open to third-party inspection.
Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Every order is subject to documented inspection protocols from raw-material receipt to final dispatch.
Incoming steel verified against Mill Test Certificates. Chemical and mechanical properties checked for compliance with IS 2062 and customer specifications.
All cut, drilled and fabricated components checked against GA drawings. Tolerances per IS 7215 or customer specs. Jig checks for critical assemblies — jigs and fixtures are built in our own tool room.
Visual weld inspection per IS 822. Welder qualifications maintained per WPS / PQR. NDT (dye-penetrant, ultrasonic) conducted as required.
Coating thickness measured with calibrated DFT gauges. Adherence test. Visual check for bare spots, lumps and drips. Results recorded in a galvanizing report.
Inspections by BVQI, SGS, Bureau Veritas, DNV, TÜV and customer-nominated agencies are fully supported; records are maintained to facilitate them.
Final check before loading. Assembly trial for complex structures. Marking, stencilling and bundling per export or client packing requirements.
A dedicated in-house lab enables complete mechanical, chemical and galvanizing certification — reducing turnaround time and reinforcing quality at every stage. Our German-built Bruker spectrometer reads steel, zinc, aluminium and copper, so both the incoming steel and the zinc in our kettle are verified under our own roof.
| Equipment | Capability | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Bruker Q2 ION Optical Emission Spectrometer Imported from Germany | Chemical composition analysis across four metals — steel, zinc, aluminium and copper. Verifies incoming steel against mill certificates and lets us check kettle zinc purity in-house. | IS 2062 / mill-cert verification |
| Universal Testing Machine (UTM) | Tensile, yield and mechanical property testing. | IS 1608 / customer specs |
| Analogue Rockwell Hardness Testing Machine | Hardness verification of steel components and fasteners. | IS 1586 / ASTM E18 |
| DFT Gauges & Adherence Kit | Zinc-coating thickness and adhesion verification. | IS 2629 / ASTM A123 |
Coating quality is decided before the steel ever touches zinc. Every consignment passes this sequence in our 7-metre kettle line.
Alkaline degreasing removes oils, grease and organic contaminants.
Rinsing removes chemical residue after degreasing.
Hydrochloric-acid bath removes mill scale and rust, exposing clean steel.
Removes acid and residual scale.
Zinc-ammonium-chloride flux prevents oxidation and aids bonding.
Warm-air drying eliminates residual moisture before immersion.
Immersion in molten zinc at 450 °C forms a durable multi-layer coating.
Water quench or air cool; thickness measured with DFT gauge per IS 2629.
Galvanizing: IS 2629 / ASTM A123 · Structural steel: IS 2062 / IS 8500 · Wind load: IS 875 (Part 3) · Welding: AWS D1.1 / IS 816 · Weld inspection: IS 822 · Tolerances: IS 7215.
Management systems certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). Third-party inspection by BVQI, SGS, Bureau Veritas, DNV, TÜV and customer-nominated agencies is fully supported.
