Most supplier pages name a standard and stop. These do the opposite: each states what the standard actually requires in its own units, gives the conversions that a purchase specification and an inspection gauge disagree on, and says plainly what Indo East can hold.
Where we do not hold something, we say so. ASTM A123 and EN ISO 1461 are specifications a coating is supplied against, not certificates a plant is issued — we galvanize to the grade and prove it with readings. Our audited certifications are ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

The Indian, European and American hardware standards converge on 610 g/m² from three different starting points. ASTM A123 for structural shapes does not — it asks for meaningfully more. Worth knowing before an American specification and a European one are quoted at the same price.

For galvanizing: IS 2629 for the process, IS 4759 for coating mass, IS 2633 for uniformity and IS 6745 for coating-mass determination, with ASTM A123, ASTM A153 and EN ISO 1461 used where an export specification calls for them. For steel: IS 2062. For towers: IS 802 with wind loads from IS 875 Part 3. For line hardware: IS 2486. For fasteners: IS 1367 classes 4.6, 5.6 and 8.8. For earthing: IS 3043 and IS 12776.
We hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, which are independently audited management system certifications, and we are an RDSO approved manufacturer for railway structures. Product standards such as IS 4759, ASTM A123 and EN ISO 1461 are specifications that material is supplied and certified against, not certificates a plant holds — we galvanize to them and issue the readings.
75–85 microns as standard, read on a calibrated DFT gauge and reported per batch. Where a specification calls for 610 g/m² — the figure in most state utility purchase specifications — we galvanize and certify at or above the equivalent 85 microns, confirmed in writing at quotation against the section thicknesses in your drawing.
Because the specification language is where the real questions get asked and almost nobody answers them. We read a dozen competitor line-hardware pages before writing these: exactly one cited a galvanizing standard, and none cited IS 2486, a load rating or a coating figure. An engineer searching a standard number has a live project.
Yes, and we would prefer to. Venting and hanging under ASTM A385 decide whether a fabrication comes out of the kettle clean, and reviewing that before steel is cut costs nothing.
