Five facts let us price an export order properly: what you need made, the standard it must meet, roughly how much, the incoterm, and the destination port. Give us those and you get a real answer instead of a brochure.
This form goes to our export desk, not to a general inbox. A director replies within 48 business hours — and if we are not the right supplier for your requirement, we will say so rather than go quiet on you.
You do not need every field. Name, company, email and country are enough to start a conversation. The five numbered fields are the ones that turn a conversation into a price.
Each one moves the number. A quotation missing any of them is a guess dressed as a price.
| What we ask | What it decides |
|---|---|
| What you need made | Whether it is ours to make at all. Towers, substation structures and solar mounting are our own line; some accessories we would be buying in, and we would rather tell you that than pretend. |
| The standard | The coating, and therefore the zinc. ASTM A123 for structural shapes over ¼ in asks for 100 µm; IS 4759 and EN ISO 1461 land at about 85 µm. That is roughly 18% more zinc on the same steel — a real cost difference, not a paperwork one. See standards equivalence. |
| Quantity | Kettle scheduling and steel buying. Our kettle is 7.0 m × 1.2 m × 1.6 m, so tonnage and piece length together decide how the work sequences — a long member may need double-dipping even when the tonnage is small. |
| The incoterm | Where our responsibility ends and yours begins — and therefore what is inside the price. EXW and CIF for the same steel are different numbers because they are different jobs. See shipping from Howrah. |
| Destination port | Freight, and the pre-shipment regime. Several markets require PVoC, SONCAP or SABER certification arranged per shipment before the goods sail; knowing the port early keeps that off the critical path. |
None of these are commitments. Give us your best current understanding and say it is provisional — a provisional answer is far more useful to us than a blank field.
If you have a drawing or a specification, say so here and reply to our acknowledgement with it attached — the form does not take files. Nothing on this page is a commitment on either side.
Verifiable facts, so you can check us before you spend time on us.

The last line is the one most suppliers would leave out. We put it in because an overseas buyer's first act is to check, and a supplier who is straight about a short record is easier to believe on everything else.
Answered from our own line, not from the standard's cover page.
Within 48 business hours, from a director rather than an auto-responder. If the enquiry is urgent, WhatsApp +91 98303 26263 is faster than any form.
Leave them, or mark them not yet decided. It is common at tender stage. We will quote on the most likely basis and say clearly what we assumed, so the assumption is visible rather than buried.
Not through the form itself — it deliberately takes no attachments. Submit the enquiry, then reply to our acknowledgement with the drawing attached and it lands in the same thread.
Yes. Drawings, tender references and commercial terms stay with us, and we do not use one client's specification as a reference in another client's quotation. If your procurement rules need an NDA signed first, send it and we will sign it.
We have not published one, because it depends on the item and the incoterm rather than on a single figure — container economics matter more than tonnage. Tell us what you need and we will say plainly whether the volume works.
US Dollars for export enquiries unless you ask otherwise. The incoterm you give us is what tells us which costs sit inside that figure.
Once directly — fabricated structural steel to the Maldives in January 2018, from our own works through Kolkata Port under our own Import Export Code. Indo East steel is also installed on a 50 MW solar project in Togo, supplied through a client rather than shipped by us. Those are the only two, and we are actively accepting direct export orders.
The form is a little way up this page. Four lines and the five fields are enough — a director reads it and replies within 48 business hours. If you would rather talk first, WhatsApp +91 98303 26263 reaches us faster than anything else.
